2022 Crias

2023 National Champion Raynay's Scheherazade by GL

2023 National Champion Raynay's Scheherazade by GL

2022 Birthing season came to a close mid-October with the birth of BRKRD Emerald Cut's male cria sired by Belmonte's September Sun Shine.  With a total of 13 crias born, we had 8 girls and 5 boys...the last 3 were boys.

Sun Shine and Golden Legacy brought some new genetics to our farm this birthing season.  Sonata delivered a light fawn female Minuet, Tatiana had a white female Pixie (now owned by Valley Ridge Alpacas in Virginia) and lastly Emerald Cut gave birth to a handsome medium fawn male Raynay's Topaz.  Minuet and Topaz were part of a Juvie threesome in the GOS dark/mixed group of 8 at Futurity that finished an impressive 3rd.  Legacy sired an impressive brown female that captured the Color Championship at Nationals in halter as a juvie, the only juvie suri to win a championship in halter.  Scheherazade is now owned by Pines Edge Suris in Colorado.  Electrofyre's Sugar Magnolia at 6 years of age finally blessed us with her first cria by Legacy, a white boy (Sugga Cube) whom we will show next year as a previously shorn.  Ameripaca's Seleena delivered a beautiful snow white female, Semolina, that has been recently purchased by Shelhart Acre Farm.

Mardi Gras delivered a CSG female sired by Moonshine (Party Girl owned by Carolina Sunshine) and Sweetie Pea birthed a white female sired by Major (Sweetart owned by Carolina Sunshine).  Joining the 2 girls at Carolina Sunshine was Marisol, USA Peruvian Jaguar's last offspring prior to his passing, out of RSGA Sriracha.  Major also sired a full brother to War Admiral out of Spectacular, Raynay's Fanfare whom had a stellar juvie show season.  Quick to Judge had his first cria, Prosoma out of a brown Cinder's female (Yazmine of Halo), a brown male.  BRKRD Maxamus blessed us with a fawn female out of Pearl (Cinder's granddaughter).  We have named her Nimphelos.

MMALP Salvo sired a light fawn male out of Scotch Bonnet named Tapas.  Tapas will show in full fleece next year along with Minuet, Prosoma, Topaz, Nimphelos and Fanfare.  We are excited about attending the Buckeye Fall Fest 2023 with these yearlings as well as the young juvies born early Spring 2023.

Overall we are excited for the crop of cria we have been blessed with and look forward to watching them mature.
