EC delivered a white female cria May 2024 sired by Silk's Messenger of the Gods and we are super excited about this union. Back in 2021 she gave birth to a beige female sired by Messenger, Raynay's Cut Up. Cut Up was a multi banner winner in Walking Fleece and Halter and now resides at Heart & Soul Alpacas. “Elena’s Emerald Cut” was biopsied as a 30 month old white suri female with ARI# 32191806. Her 15x scan shows fiber clusters that are irregular in size and shape but mostly uniform in placement. Her density is 61.25 follicles SQ MM of skin and her S/P ratio is 9.3 to 1. Note from her density and S/P views that she has a high level of gland presence. She grades level 3 of 4 gland presence and greater that 80% of her secondary fibers show medullation. One hundred secondary fibers average 19.4 microns while 50 primary fibers average 28.9 microns for a spread of 9.5 microns. This girl has the fiber stats of the future. (Top 1%)
